What is InMoat?

InMoat is an email extension that gives you control over your inbox making you more productive. Using AI-powered smart filters, InMoat will scan, filter, and organize unsolicited and wanted email as they enter your inbox.

How much does InMoat cost?

The cost of an individual InMoat subscription to stop unwanted email is $14.99/Month.

Does InMoat have a free trial?

Yes! You can start being more productive and keeping unwanted email out of your inbox with InMoat completely risk-free for 14 days.

How does InMoat work?

InMoat uses complex Natural Language Processing models to scan and understand unsolicited email sent to you. As emails are scanned, our algorithm considers every character, word, and sentence to conceptualize and understand the purpose of the email and whether or not it was unwanted. The email is then compared to internal categories for smart filtering. If the InMoat model has a high confidence that an email is relevant to a particular category, it is filtered and organized in your inbox accordingly. If not, the email will be left alone in the InMoat folder.

How is InMoat different from my spam folder?

InMoat is going a step beyond basic spam filters by focusing on understanding the content of an unsolicited and potentially unwanted email to ensure it is valuable to you. Spam filters are designed as a catch-all approach to have malicious and untrustworthy emails bypass your inbox based on several factors around the sender’s trustworthiness. If an email is coming from a reputable email server, chances are, they will make it to your inbox.

Does InMoat scan all of my emails?

InMoat will only scan unsolicited emails that you are receiving. If an email is from a trusted sender or part of an existing email chain, InMoat will not scan, filter, or categorize it.

Does InMoat permanently delete my emails?

InMoat will never permanently delete or archive emails. As emails are filtered away from your inbox, they will be placed in a secure folder to be reviewed at a later time or date.

Will InMoat work for my email?

InMoat works with Gmail/Gsuite and Microsoft Outlook/Office365. We’re working on integration for other email clients and providers.

How do I renew my InMoat subscription?

Want to keep unwanted emails from your inbox? It’s easy to create or renew your subscription to InMoat’s AI-Powered smart filters.

  • Go to dashboard.inmoat.com to login to your InMoat Dashboard
  • Click on Settings on the bottom left of the left-hand sidebar, or click on your user name in the top right corner and select Setting
  • Scroll down to Payment Plan
  • Click on “Subscribe to InMoat”
  • Follow the secure payment processing powered by Stripe
Can I Remove someone as a Trusted Sender?

Yes! It’s easy to remove someone as a Trusted Sender from InMoat. Follow these steps to easily update and manage your Trusted Sources list.

  • Go to dashboard.inmoat.com to login to your InMoat Dashboard
  • Click on Trusted Sources on the left-hand sidebar
  • Scroll or search to find the Name or Email Address you want to remove
  • Click the Checkbox to select the Name or Email Address you want to remove
  • Click Remove from Trusted Sources

Moving forward, any email from this contact will automatically be sent to the @InMoat folder

How do I add a new DMA to my InMoat List?

Adding a new DMA to your personalized InMoat email ruleset is easy. Follow these steps if you want to add a DMA from InMoat.

  • Go to dashboard.inmoat.com to login to your InMoat Dashboard
  • Click on DMA on the left-hand sidebar
  • Scroll down to “Add a DMA to Your Selection”
  • Type a DMA into the search bar that you want to add
  • Click the + symbol on the right-hand side of the search results

Now as content related to that DMA is received by your email, it will be sent to your Inbox and not the @InMoat folder.

How do I add Edit or Remove a DMA to my InMoat List?

Sometimes your focus changes and you need to update InMoat yo stay up-to-date with your email priorities. No problem, Editing your DMA list is easy! Follow these steps if you want to edit your DMA list in InMoat.

  • Go to dashboard.inmoat.com to login to your InMoat Dashboard
  • Click on DMA on the left-hand sidebar
  • Find the “My DMAs” section
  • Click the “Manage DMAs” button on the bottom right of the section
  • Click the “X” on any of your selected DMAs to remove them from your InMoat selection

Moving forward, any email content that is received by your inbox will automatically be organized into the @InMoat folder.

How do I cancel payment for InMoat?

To cancel your InMoat subscription follow these steps:

  • Go to dashboard.inmoat.com to login to your InMoat Dashboard
  • Click on Settings on the bottom left of the left-hand sidebar, or click on your user name in the top right corner and select Setting
  • Scroll down to the bottom right
  • Click on “Cancel InMoat”

This will cancel your payment plan with InMoat and stop the AI-Powered service that is protecting your inbox from unwanted email. You can now remove the @InMoat folder from your email inbox.

Will InMoat Delete My Emails?

InMoat will never delete any of your unwanted emails. Once InMoat is integrated into your existing Gmail or Outlook account, a new folder will be created called @InMoat. Any unwanted email that gets scanned and filtered away from your inbox will be automatically placed in the @InMoat folder and not your trash can.
