How to delete your InMoat account
We're sad to see you go :'(
We're sorry to hear that InMoat isn't a fit for you, but we appreciate you giving it a shot. As a small boostrapped startup, our resources are limited but we're always looking to improve InMoat in order to truly help make email work for all. If you have any feedback you would like to share - the good and the bad - we would truly appreciate hearing from you at feedback@inmoat.com. Thank you.
Here is a step by step guide on how to delete your account. Make sure to follow these steps in order.
*Note: if you have a Premium paid subscription, make sure to cancel your monthly or annual subscription first prior to deleting your account.
Step 1. Go to the 'Settings' tab on the left-hand side of your InMoat dashboard, and then select 'Delete Account' to permanently delete your InMoat account.
Step 2. Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account by selecting 'OK'.
You've now officially deleted your InMoat account. But you're not done yet.
Although we're sad to see you leave, we promised we'd always be transparent with you and how we treat your data. In order to completely disconnect InMoat from your email provider, make sure to revoke InMoat from your app permissions
Revoking App Permissions
For G-Suite/Gmail users: to review & revoke your app permissions, go to My Google Apps Permissions.
For M365/Outlook users: to review & revoke your app permissions, go to My Microsoft Apps Permissions.
Review your @InMoat folder
You've now officially deleted your InMoat account and revoked your app permissions to InMoat, however, your @InMoat folder within your mailbox will remain. You can delete, edit, rename or move this folder elsewhere directly within your inbox. If you decide to delete the folder, we advise you to review all the emails prior to deletion in case there are any emails you may want to save.
