Issues logging into InMoat

The new version of InMoat was released on February 14, 2024. Depending on when you last logged in to your InMoat account, you may have to clear your browser cache. Follow the steps below to clear cache on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.

(Tip: for the best experience, we recommend using InMoat on either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge)

Google Chrome

1. Open Google Chrome, and navigate to https://app.inmoat.com/.

2. Click on the ellipses on the upper right-hand corner of the browser > select 'More Tools' > select 'Developer Tools'.
Alternatively, you can hit F12 to open the Developer Tools.

3. In the developer tools console, click on the 'Networks' tab at the top, and then select the 'Preserve Log box' and the 'Disable Cache' checkboxes. (see red arrows in the image below)

4. Then hard refresh the page. To do a hard refresh, right-click on the Reload icon to the left of the address bar, and then select 'Hard Reload' from the drop-down menu.

5. Close the developer tools console by clicking the 'X' in the top right corner.

You should now be able to log in to InMoat and see the most recent version. If you're still having trouble, please contact us at support@inmoat.com.

Microsoft Edge

1. Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to https://app.inmoat.com/.

2. Click on the ellipses on the upper right-hand corner of the browser > select 'More Tools' > select 'Developer Tools'.

3. In the developer tools console, click on the 'Networks' tab at the top, and then select the 'Preserve Log box' and the 'Disable Cache' checkboxes. (see red arrows image below)

4. Then hard refresh the page. To do a hard refresh, right-click on the Refresh/Reload icon to the left of the address bar, and then select 'Hard Reload' from the drop-down menu.

You should now be able to log in to InMoat and see the most recent version. If you're still having trouble, please contact us at support@inmoat.com.

Safari

To completely clear the cache, you can the keyboard shortcut Opt+Cmd+E to instantly clear all caches.


Alternatively:

  1. From the "Safari" menu, choose "Preferences..."
  2. Click on the "Advanced" tab
  3. Check the box at the bottom next to "Show Develop menu in menu bar"
  4. Close preferences, and click "Develop" in the menu bar > select "Empty Caches"
  5. Empty Caches
  6. Then hard refresh the page. To do a hard refresh, hold down the ⇧ Shift key and click the Reload toolbar button.
